A body in motion stays in motion and a body at rest should be in meditation.
I have been learning how to honor my body and be still to listen to what it needs. I am learning to respect the need to rest when my body requires it. I am drinking more water on a daily basis and working to increase my meditation time. Meditation is great when things slow down in the evening or early in the morning before the hustle and bustle of the day begins. You don’t have to be fancy. Just thank God for waking you up & ask God to walk with you as you move through your day. Then take nine minutes to write three things that you are thankful/grateful for. For people who have a chronic condition it can be as simple as ” I am thankful that I can function on my own today; I am thankful to be able to handle my daily activities independently; or even I am grateful to feed myself”. Put your left hand over your heart and your right hand over your left and honor the breaths that you are taking. Feel your body going in and out and up and down. Just breath.Try this and let me know how it works for you.
